Many businesses bypass having a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) or Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP). In some cases, they do so because their decision-makers see the probability of a disaster to be rather small. Others who are in a position to approve resource allocation hesitate to plan because they believe the costs and effort required for disaster remediation to be too high. In this White Paper, we will focus on the basics—and the methodology of disaster preparedness.
